Jos Pothof

Jos acts as an independent of-counsel for the firm to which he brings a wealth of 45+ years of legal business experience.
Jos is known not only for his pragmatic approach, a great deal of common sense and understanding the client’s business, but also for his broad view of the labor market in a national and international context.
Career
Jos began his legal career at CMS, one of the major global alliances of law firms. He had stayed with the firm for 30 years becoming partner and head of the International Employment Group and a Management Team Member of the CMS Practice Area Group Employment and Pensions. In the early 2000’s he met Rachida el Johari and Madeleine Molster with whom he forged a valuable professional bond which turned into the set-up of Sagiure in January 2014.
Additional Information
Jos combines his collaboration with Sagiure with vice-chair and chairman positions at various institutions and corporations, where he takes on the role of sparring partner for top management.
Jos has contributed to numerous publications in the field of his specialization.
He is fluent in Dutch, German, and English.
